Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Biscoff cookie butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Activate the yeast by mixing warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Combine the activated yeast mixture with melted butter, salt, egg, and flour. Mix until you have a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a cloth. Let it rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape on a floured surface.
- Spread Biscoff cookie butter evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Roll up tightly from one edge and slice into equal pieces.
- Place slices in a baking dish and cover to rise again for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and milk for glaze; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
