  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in molasses.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls; place on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until set but soft. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. Once completely cooled, roll each cookie in powdered sugar.
