Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Cream cheese
  • Fresh jalapeños
  • Cooked chicken or beef
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Green onions
  • Garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, diced jalapeños, crumbled cooked chicken or beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, and garlic powder. Mix well until combined.
  2. Lay out egg roll wrappers on a clean surface. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the filling in the center of each wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the side corners, and roll tightly towards the top corner; seal edges with water.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry 2-3 rolls at a time for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
