- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 3/4 oz honey syrup
- 2 1/4 oz sparkling water (as a non-alcoholic alternative)
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- Crushed ice
- Fresh mint sprigs (for garnish)
Instructions
- Gently slap fresh mint leaves between your palms to release their oils.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the slapped mint leaves and honey syrup. Use a muddler to press the mint without shredding it.
- Pour in the sparkling water and add two dashes of bitters. Fill the shaker with crushed ice.
- Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix and chill.
- Strain into a glass filled with more crushed ice. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and enjoy!
