Ingredients
- 4.5 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp sour cream (room temperature)
- 1/3 cup strawberries (finely diced)
- 1/4 tsp fresh lemon zest
- 12–14 wonton wrappers
- 1.5 tbsp butter (melted and cooled)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt.
- Lay out a wonton wrapper, place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center, moisten edges with water, fold into a triangle shape, and seal tightly.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat; fry the wontons until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
