Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper until combined.
- Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Pour half of the glaze over the fillets, reserving the remainder.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through; use a fork to check if it flakes easily.
- While baking, warm the reserved glaze in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Once cooked, drizzle the salmon with the warmed glaze and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
