  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the cubed sirloin steak with salt and black pepper; let it rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente. Save one cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat; sear the steak cubes for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer; gradually whisk in parmesan cheese until smooth.
  6. Toss cooked fettuccine in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency. Top with seared steak bites, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
